Baleària’s Eleanor Roosevelt is the world’s first fast ferry with natural gas engines and runs on the Palma – Ibiza – Denia route.
This ship incorporates multiple innovations, such as improvements in the interior design, where priority has been given to the spaciousness of the spaces and the separation between seats, and comfort on board, incorporating a stabilisation system of the highest technology, which will considerably reduce movement.
Similarly, vibrations and noise will also be minimised thanks to an elastically floating superstructure and the installation of high-tech insulation.
A SMART AND EFFICIENT SHIP
The ferry incorporates smart ship technology for on-board services and makes use of big data to monitor efficiency and emissions in real time.
In addition, this state-of-the-art smart ship has QR code access, internet service and WhatsApp coverage throughout the crossing, a digital entertainment platform and pet tracking.
