Spring is coming! How is the weather in Ibiza?

Although officially the season does not arrive until March 20th, we can already start enjoying fantastic weather on the island. We explain you what the weather is like in Ibiza during the month of February and before the arrival of spring.

Ibiza, the white island, has a clearly Mediterranean climate, very pleasant during most of the year. Hot summers and mild winters are the general trend, but from these dates one can already enjoy nature and spectacular phenomena such as the almond blossom of Santa Inés.

Ibiza's autumns tend to offer a sometimes unknown side of the island: more intimate, quieter, more peaceful. A time when it is really easy to fall in love with the largest of the Pitiusas, especially for those people who are thinking of buying a property.

But what is the climate like in Ibiza the rest of the year?

MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM TEMPERATURES IN AUTUMN AND SPRING

At the time of writing, at Ibiza Country Villas we are enjoying 17º of temperature. Not bad for February, right? Throughout the autumn temperatures range from a low of 8º to a high of 18º, and it is unlikely that you will encounter any rain or storm.

Although it is true that the wind chill (due to Ibiza's high concentration of humidity) can fool our bodies in the mornings, there are few places in the Mediterranean that offer this quality of life during this season of the year.

When spring arrives, the minimum temperature does not usually drop below 10º and residents of Ibiza can enjoy a pleasant average of 20º during late March, April and May - ideal conditions!

WHEN IS IT MOST LIKELY TO RAIN IN IBIZA?

If you're one of those who keeps an eye on the weather forecast so you don't forget your umbrella at home, you may be asking yourself this question right now. No one likes to get wet from top to bottom except by taking a dip in an idyllic beach or the pool at their villa or house.

Well, there's good news for you! The highest concentration of rain in Ibiza occurs during the months of October/November and, with a few exceptions, is not usually of significant intensity.

Eso sí, las altas temperaturas que se registran en la isla en el mes de agosto a veces provocan tormentas veraniegas. Estas suelen ser bastante atípicas pero descargan mucha agua en muy poco tiempo, así que nunca está de mas tenerlo en cuenta.
