The price of housing will become more expensive this year, according to the “X Bar\u00f3metro Inmobiliario – El sentimiento de mercado de los profesionales inmobiliarios” (X Real Estate Barometer – The market sentiment of real estate professionals<\/strong>). The figure for this rise may exceed 4%.<\/p>\n

This report has been carried out by Uni\u00f3n de Cr\u00e9ditos Inmobiliarios (UCI)<\/strong> and the Spanish International Realty Alliance (SIRA)<\/strong> and forecasts that the upward trend in home purchase and sale transactions will continue.<\/p>\n

According to these professionals, “housing is experiencing a period of stability<\/strong>“. Data from the National Statistics Institute (INE)<\/strong> support these figures: in 2021, a total of 565,523 properties were sold, the best figure in the last 14 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the Balearic Islands the price can go up ALMOST 8%.<\/h3>\n

With regard to our autonomous community, the expected increase is even higher: “the price of housing could rise by 7.8% in the Balearic Islands<\/strong>“, according to the study carried out by UCI and SIRA.<\/p>\n

Both the national and regional forecasts are in line with those of the market, which points to an increase in housing prices of between 2% and 6%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Purchase interest also rises<\/h3>\n

The real estate professionals consulted for this real estate barometer also consider that the interest in buying will exceed renting<\/strong>. In this sense, the figures for the first assumption range between 8 and 8.25%<\/strong>, while in the second they do not exceed 3.3%.<\/p>\n

“This 2022 the demand for permanent housing, second homes and investment as a safe haven asset in brick<\/strong>, will make the real estate sector continue to grow as it has done in 2021,” says Toni Exp\u00f3sito<\/strong>, CEO of Comprarcasa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
