Card that proves your place of residence is within the jurisdiction of the Spanish Consulate of your nearest location<\/li>\n<li>Certification of \u201cabsence of police records\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Proof of sufficient economic funds for you and your family<\/li>\n<li>Proof of Insurance that covers Sanitary Assistance, Accidents, Emergencies, Evacuation, Medical Repatriation, Return of Remains with complete international coverage<\/li>\n<li>Disclaimer duly signed<\/li>\n<li>Payment of the Visa Fees is accepted with money orders<\/li>\n<li>Certifying Documentation (if the purchase has already been formalized) or a pre-contract with guarantee together with a certificate from a financial institution established in Spain (if the purchase has not yet been formalized).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>How long does the visa for the purchase of a real estate property last?<\/h3>\n<p>The term of validity of the <strong>Visa for the Acquisition of Real Estate in Spain<\/strong> varies depending on whether the property has already been acquired (i.e. the purchase-sale has already been formalized) or not.<\/p>\n<p>In the first case, the visa will be valid for 365 calendar days (1 year).<\/p>\n<p>In the second case, the visa will be valid for 6 months, as long as there is a pre-contract with a guarantee of its fulfillment by means of a deposit or other means formalized in a public deed.<\/p>\n<p>{snippet inversion-en}<\/p>\n<h3>Who can apply for a residence visa?<\/h3>\n<p>If you are thinking of obtaining a residence visa when <strong>buying a house in Ibiza<\/strong> (or any property in Spain) for more than 500.000\u20ac, you should know that the application must be presented in person.<\/p>\n<p>In the event that this is not possible, a person can act as a representative if this is duly accredited.
