Throughout the month of June, the island of Ibiza offers tourists and residents multiple exhibitions of art, photography and painting. Today on the Ibiza Country Villas<\/strong> blog we are going to recommend the most interesting ones. Ibiza is culture!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retrospective exhibition of Roger Dixon<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We start with one of the most outstanding artists of the island: Roger Dixon<\/strong>. He was one of the defenders of the Art Club Ibiza<\/strong> (an association of artists) and founder of the Art Route<\/strong>. This exhibition shows a retrospective of his work coinciding with the anniversary of his death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

II Ram\u00f3n Medina Collection Sample<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We continue with an exhibition where we can enjoy the work of two of the most important Ibizan painters of contemporary art: Vicent Calbet<\/strong> and Antoni Mar\u00ed Ribas \u201cPortmany\u201d.<\/strong> The collector Ram\u00f3n Medina<\/strong>, who died in 2004, has collected more than 300 works by painters established on the island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photographic exhibition: \u201cKintsugi\u201d by Muchigraphy<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the most trendy photographers in Ibiza, Juan Francisco Tur (Muchigraphy)<\/strong>, exhibits his photographic work \u201cKintsugi<\/strong>\u201d in the mythical Can Jordi bar. Portraits, landscapes and everyday situations of his travels to the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and India between 2012 and 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ariadne didn\u2019t pass through here (in the threadless labyrinth)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Madrid sculptor Leandro Alonso exhibits at the College of Architects of the Balearic Islands \u2018Ariadna no pas\u00f3 por aqu\u00ed (en el laberinto sin hilo)\u2019<\/strong>, translated \u2018Ariadne didn\u2019t pass through here (in the threadless labyrinth).<\/em> An original labyrinth elaborated with more than 50 of his works. The montage invites the public to participate as its own author explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
