Restaurantes

CASA MAMA

Chef Pau Barba has left behind his career in the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants to found Casa Mama with David Denais. A restaurant like the traditional ones, with hams hanging from the ceiling, traditional crockery and a sober but charming decoration. Breakfasts and meals based on slow-cooked meals and tasty stews that mothers and grandmothers used to make. A tribute to them and to the traditional recipes of Spanish gastronomy with dishes such as beans with clams, tripe with chickpeas or a mellow potato omelette.

Ammos Greek

Ibiza's new Greek restaurant! Located at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, Ammos Greek arrives from Dubai under the guidance of executive chef Antoni Melas. Fresh Mediterranean ingredients are the starting point for each dish, which he transforms to accentuate the Greek flavours, colours and aromas. Be succumbed by the fresh fish and seafood of the day, as well as the many popular recipes, such as tzatziki, souvlaki and orzo pasta.

maine ibiza

Maine Ibiza offers at first glance the charm of being located inside an 18th century whitewashed parish church in front of the natural spectacle of Salinas Natural Park. It is located next to the small church of Sant Francesc de s'Estany, and although it may appear to be an indoor restaurant, it has a large terrace with dark wood furniture that adds elegance and warmth to the space.

Maine's cuisine is based on carefully selected fresh produce presented with simplicity. Ibicencan vegetables, grilled beef and a raw bar of the best fresh fish.

casa linda

Tomás Abellán, son of the renowned chef Carles Abellán, opens his first restaurant in Ibiza after the success of Bar Alegría in Barcelona. He does so in a unique location, in the private garden of the Jardines de Palerm hotel under the name Casa Linda.

With spectacular views of the Bay of San Antonio, its gastronomic proposal is based on tradition, on Mediterranean recipes with the best of the sea and the land of Ibiza. A menu designed to be shared at the centre of the table and enjoyed in company.

Salvia

Within the exclusive estate of the Hotel Boutique Ca Na Xica, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden full of fruit trees, you will find Salvia, an intimate space conceived for the most exquisite and restless palates. The philosophy of its cuisine is based on the quality of local raw materials and how the essence of each ingredient can be improved through hard work, dedication and passion.

The chef, Pablo Carrizo (he has worked in the kitchens of El Bulli, El Celler de Can Roca, Martín Berasategui and Quique Dacosta among others) is committed to a selection of signature tapas and dishes to share, in which vegetables take centre stage. In fact, he has created an ode to the vegetable world in a tasting menu called 'Camp d'Eivissa'. Avant-garde techniques without forgetting traditional flavours such as the charcoal-grilled cuisine he achieves with his Josper oven.

ALMAR

Almar is the new restaurant in Playa de Talamanca, located in the former El Barco, which has been renovated with a warm interior design where wicker and wood predominate. Located right on the beach with the sea as a backdrop, this is the place to eat exquisite fine rice dishes, prepared by the master rice chef Toni Boix, and grilled fish and seafood with some Asian touches, the result of chef Jesús Martín's five-year stay in Thailand. Rice with crab and prawns, with sea bass and cockles or with octopus and tender garlic are some of the surprising combinations.

PROTEIN IN Ses12Naus

Ses12Naus is a foundation created to promote the creation, production and enjoyment of contemporary art in Ibiza through residencies, exhibitions and public programmes. Until 21 October it is possible to visit the exhibition by Nina Beier and Simon Dybbroe Møller, called PROTEIN.

A site-specific installation that poses an ingenious paradox around insects, through which the artists question us about some of the great questions of our time. Starting from the widespread assumption that the human being is better than the animal and different from the machine, the artists have been investigating insects and the cultural life of Ibiza.

_ness

Fundación La Nave Salinas is hosting the exhibition _ness by Australian artist Jonny Niesche in which, through works of hypnotic minimalism, he encourages viewers to explore their own sensory perceptions generated by the works and the dynamic space. This is the artist's first solo exhibition in Spain and his monumental works have been conceived specifically for this space.

Accompanied by the sound of the black hole at the centre of the Perseus galaxy, these pieces invite viewers to explore the changing modes of perception created by their space, form and materiality. The exhibition can be visited until 27 October 2023.
