The best routes for cycling lovers in Ibiza

January 12, 2017

Ibiza, known for its vibrant nightlife and beautiful beaches, is also a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. The island offers a number of scenic routes that traverse its stunning Mediterranean landscape and allow cyclists to explore its natural and cultural treasures in a truly unique way.

The best time to enjoy this activity is during the months of September and October, in addition to the pleasant temperatures, this period coincides with the decrease in tourism on the island after the summer.

Indeed, on October 13, 14 and 15, the XX Vuelta Ciclista a Ibiza Campagnolo 2023 is held in Ibiza. This event brings together more than five hundred people for three days, riding routes that cross all the municipalities of the island, with a special focus on San Antonio, where the headquarters of the organization is located.

This competition, which has counted as godfathers with cycling legends such as Miguel Indurain or Perico Delgado, is characterized not only by its route on paved roads, but also by exploring some little-known natural locations that will delight island lovers. October 13 and 15 will include cyclotourist rides with timed segments, while Saturday 14 will feature an exciting competitive day with an individual time trial. Registrations are now open, so don't hesitate to join the action!
