The promoter, a reference in the Spanish real estate market, has found some interesting data regarding the purchase intentions and the typology of the houses.
As we already told you in our blog, there is an increasing interest in the purchase of large villas and apartments with swimming pool and garden. The study confirms this trend and provides more information.
MORE BEDROOMS AND MORE SPACE
After the state of alarm and the "new normal" to which society has been forced to adapt, the sale of houses with more than 4 bedrooms has increased by 35%.
On the other hand, the useful surface that is demanded at the time of buying a house has grown by 6%.
The fear of new confinements or new restrictions is one of the main factors of these changes.
FOCUS ON SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES
One of the most interesting conclusions of the Habitat Inmobiliaria study is the increased interest in single-family homes and houses with gardens.

With respect to the first type, sales have increased by more than 50%, a significant figure.
In relation to the houses with garden, the demand has experienced a rise of 12%.
