The luxury of Adlib Ibiza fashion
The Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort hotel hosted the latest Adlib fashion show, which was held this July. This event was organised jointly by Adlib Ibiza and Ibiza Luxury Destination with the aim of promoting the fashion of the white island in luxury hotels.
On this occasion, attendees were able to see the creations of Ibiza Stones, Ivanna Mestres, Vintage Ibiza and Virginia Vald, who presented six designs each. As part of the same initiative, two more fashion shows will be held in August (specifically at the Aguas de Ibiza and Bless hotels).
This is an action "that was requested by the designer sector", as the councillor for Economic and Business Promotion Maria Fajarnés declared in Diario de Ibiza.
A pop up shop to buy adlib fashion in ibiza
One of the novelties of this edition has been the installation of a pop up shop in the hotel Destino Pacha, where the hotel guests and the people attending the fashion show can buy Adlib garments while they talk to the designers themselves.
In the words of designer Ivanna Mestres, this allows customers "to see many more products, get to know you and understand how we make things. They don't just see and that's it".
Celebrating the 51st anniversary
On the other hand, the 51st edition of the Pasarela Adlib was held on 11 June in Es Martell (Port of Ibiza). K de Kose kose, S72 HAT, Estrivancus, Dolors Miró Ibiza, Espardenyes Torres, Ivanna Mestres, Virginia Vald, Ibiza Stones, Piluca Bayarri, Elisa Pomar, Monika Maxim Ibiza, Ibimoda Ibiza, Tony Bonet and Vintage Ibiza were the firms that defended their slow fashion proposals.
This catwalk show was marked by a heartfelt tribute to the Ibizan seal through the 14 handcrafted, Mediterranean-inspired collections that were paraded in the Port of Ibiza, with the old quarter of the city and the Marina neighbourhood as the backdrop.
Adlib Ibiza is, for its promoters, the freest and most tasteful fashion in the world where tradition, culture and the history of Ibiza's fashion have been highlighted. Nationally renowned models such as Malena Costa (image and godmother of the brand), Nuria Rothschild, Lucía López and Paula Willems have been chosen to defend the essence of this global brand during the 2022 catwalk.
