Art and painting exhibitions in Ibiza throughout June

Retrospective exhibition of Roger Dixon
We start with one of the most outstanding artists of the island: Roger Dixon. He was one of the defenders of the Art Club Ibiza (an association of artists) and founder of the Art Route. This exhibition shows a retrospective of his work coinciding with the anniversary of his death.

II Ramón Medina Collection Sample
We continue with an exhibition where we can enjoy the work of two of the most important Ibizan painters of contemporary art: Vicent Calbet and Antoni Marí Ribas “Portmany”. The collector Ramón Medina, who died in 2004, has collected more than 300 works by painters established on the island.

Photographic exhibition: “Kintsugi” by Muchigraphy
One of the most trendy photographers in Ibiza, Juan Francisco Tur (Muchigraphy), exhibits his photographic work “Kintsugi” in the mythical Can Jordi bar. Portraits, landscapes and everyday situations of his travels to the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and India between 2012 and 2018.

Ariadne didn’t pass through here (in the threadless labyrinth)
Madrid sculptor Leandro Alonso exhibits at the College of Architects of the Balearic Islands ‘Ariadna no pasó por aquí (en el laberinto sin hilo)’, translated ‘Ariadne didn’t pass through here (in the threadless labyrinth). An original labyrinth elaborated with more than 50 of his works. The montage invites the public to participate as its own author explains.
